The fight between Tyson and Paul will be both a sactioned and professional match. The news was first reported by ESPN.

Furthermore, the fight will be contested over eight two minute rounds. Both Paul and Tyson will use 14 oz gloves. The fight will also go on Paul and Tyson's professional records.

Tyson last competed in a professional fight in 2005, where he lost to Kevin McBride after quitting in the middle of the fight. Meanwhile, Paul picked up a TKO win in his last professional fight, which occured against Ryan Bourland in March 2024.
