Matt Hardy remains a free agent.
At TNA Rebellion on Saturday night, the show drew to a close with a returning Matt Hardy making a surprise appearance. Hardy would return as his "Broken" persona, taking out TNA World Champion Moose to close the show.
Despite many fans assuming Hardy was now signed to the promotion, he would take to social media after the appearance to clarify that he remains a free agent.

Hardy finished up with AEW at the beginning of April. His contract had expired in March, but was extended for a few weeks. Hardy recently noted that he has spoken to both WWE and AEW during his recent free agency.
