On May 14, Ring of Honor announced that the Survival of the Fittest tournament would return after it was voted on by the fans in a poll asking which of ROH’s annual events they would like to see return.
On Tuesday's episode of ROH Week By Week, the bracket for Survival of the Fittest 2021 was announced.
The following qualifying matches are set for the tournament:
- Rey Horus vs. Flamita
- Eli Isom vs. Dak Draper
- Bandido vs. Bateman
- Brian Johnson vs. Sledge
- Chris Dickinson vs. O'Shay Edwards
- Danhausen vs. Rhett Titus
The six winners will compete in a six-way elimination bout with the winner being crown Survival of the Fittest and earning an ROH World Title match.
Previous tournament winners include Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson in ROH), Adam Cole, Damian Priest (Punishment Martinez in ROH), and Seth Rollins (Tyler Black in ROH).
Survival of the Fittest 2021 is set to begin in two weeks on ROH Television.
