WWE Executive Announces Return To The Company

WWE has welcomed back one of its executive.

Scott Smoot, who worked in WWE as as the Vice President of Live Event Production, took to his LinkedIn page to announced he is returning to the company.

"Exciting and completely grateful to finally officially announce to all my return to WWE today!" he wrote.

Smoot was released in September 2020 part of the company making multiple cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Smoot will retain his job as Vice President of Live Event Production and is currently working remotely. He was first hired in June 2014.

During his time away from WWE, Smoot took a position as Senior Director of Creative & Match Presentation for FC Cincinnati from February 2021 to May 2021.

WWE is set to resume live events in July 16 with a 25-city summer tour. The tour kicks off with WWE SmackDown on July 16 in Texas.
