Young Bucks On AEW Having Too Many Factions: It's Easier To Book Angles

The Young Bucks have recently changed character, going from babyfaces to heels while remaining aligned with Kenny Omega.

Matt & Nick Jackson rose to prominence as part of the Bullet Club and remain tied to Omega, Doc Gallows, and Karl Anderson as BC Elite in AEW.

AEW has become known for its faction warfare with BC Elite, Team Taz, Dark Order, The Hardy Family, The Nightmare Family, The Inner Circle, The Pinnacle, and more occupying spots on television.

Speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider, the Bucks responded to criticism that AEW has too many factions to keep up with.

"New Japan Pro Wrestling has been booking factions for more than 40 years, and they’re still around. I see the argument, but I think North American fans have never seen this many at one time. They are used to one, two, or three stables in a company. It’s easier to book angles. It’s easy to get more people involved with different groups. If you’re not aligned in a stable, you’re alone, and that’s hard to book sometimes. That’s why we have a lot of factions. It has clearly worked," said Nick.

With so many factions on the roster, fans have wondered when Trios Titles will be a thing in AEW. The possibility of the belts dates back over a year, but thus far, no update has been given.

Matt said, "We actually just mentioned that to [president] Tony Khan last week. It’s something we’ve been talking about for a while. I think it’s something we will do. It’s just a matter of when."

There is still no word on when AEW will introduce the Trios Titles to the AEW universe.
