TNA iMPACT! (5/9)

- The System come out for their Championship Celebration. Matt Hardy interrupts a video package of theirs and comes out. He makes fun of Moose for never winning a Super Bowl. Hardy attacks them with a chair but when blocking the distraction of Alisha Edwards, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and Moose get the upper hand on the attack. Ryan Nemeth comes out and does his best impersonation of the Sandman with a Kendo stick to clear the ring.

- Backstage, Gia Miller interviews ABC and there's obvious tension between Ace Austin and Chris Bey. However, they insist that everything is fine and they look forward to beating Mike Bailey and Trent Seven and then facing off to determine the next challenger for Mustafa Ali and the TNA Wrestling X-Division Title.

- The System complains to Santino about what they went through and Santino says he's going to give them a chance at revenge.

* First Class (AJ Francis & Rich Swann) def. The FBI (Ray Jaz & Zack Clayton) w/ Little Guido

- Alan Angels hosts Sound Check and his guests for the week are Kon & Steph de Lander. Nothing really gets done because Angels just hits on SDL once he realizes that she's not dating Kon.

- Santino is approached backstage by Jake Something. He wants Justice for what happened at TNA Under Siege with Rich Swann he's interrupted by The Rascalz. Santino books attack team match between Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz and Jake Something and his former cousin Cody Deaner.

* Albany Tornado Match: The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) def. Jake Something & Cody Deaner

- Steve Maclin comes from out of nowhere and jumps The Rascalz from behind while they're celebrating their victory. The camera follows him backstage and he's questioned by Gia Miller why he did what he did. Maclin said he was simply taking care of business. Frankie Kazarian is upset by all of this and believes this is why they lost at TNA Under Siege to Josh Alexander and Eric Young. Maclin says he's done with that whole problem and in return, Kaz says he's done trying to help him with Mike Santana.

- Tom Hannifan interviewed Mike Santana. Santana recapped the last 5 years of his career in a video package and there is more to the interview in the coming weeks.

- Gabby LaSpisa brings out Ash By Elegance for an interview. She's the first person to question what the Elegance brand even means. Gabby tosses it to footage of Ash's actions at TNA Under Siege. She then tosses it to footage of Ash losing to Xia Brookside two weeks ago. Ash claims she only lost because she lost her jewelry when the referee took away the rings that she used to knock people out. Gabby informed Ash that she would have the chance to win back her rings next week if she could beat Brookside again.

- A Joe Hendry video package plays and it recaps his recent musical success.

- Santino Marella announced the Champions Challenge for next week. Champions will take on a team of all-stars. Marella also announces that Josh Alexander was supposed to be in this match but he's currently not cleared to compare.

* Jonathan Gresham def. Will Ferrara

- A vignette shows Gail Kim heading to a wellness retreat and interrupting Gisele Shaw in the middle of meditation. Gail lets her know that they need to talk.

* Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Severn) def. ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey)

- Mustafa Ali was on commentary for this match. As a result of this win, Bailey and Seven will wrestle each other at a later date to determine who will challenge Mustafa Ali for the TNA X-Division Title at TNA Against All Odds. Also, after the match, tensions between Ace Austin and Chris Bey continued to surface.
