Triple H comments on Drew Gulak departing WWE.

On May 3rd, PWInsider and Fightful reported that Drew Gulak was part of the talent releases that took place during the day.

During the WWE Backlash press conference, Triple H was asked if Gulak had been released and if it had anything to do with Ronda Rousey's accusations.

"We release talent all the time. NFL releases four to five hundred people a year. We release talent all the time. It's part of what we do. You can't just hire people, bring them in, keep hiring more people and just keep bringing them in. An unfortunate part of the job is talent gets released. Can I say he was released? He was not released. His contract was just not renewed," he said.

Gulak was part of the No Quarter Catch Crew on NXT television, but was seemingly written off TV on the April 16th episode when Tony D'Angelo and The Family "took out the trash" for NQCC.

On April 2, Ronda Rousey accused Gulak of pulling on the string of her sweatpants backstage when she still worked with the company. Gulak claimed it was an accident.
