Andre Soukhamthath Re-Signs With UFC

Andre Soukhamthath picked up his first win in the UFC when he defeated Luke Sanders at UFC Fight Night Fresno.

As a reward for his effort, a brand new five fight contract has been offered by the UFC and signed by the fighter.

Soukhamthath current has a 1-2-0 record in the UFC (12-5-0 overall), defeating Luke Sanders, while suffering defeats to Albert Morales and Alejandro Perez. Two of Soukhamthath’s three fights in the UFC came with the fighter as a short notice replacement, those bouts came against Sanders and Morales.

The now re-signed Soukhamthath said a fight announcement was coming soon in his Instagram post, but did not reveal an opponent or fight date at this time. The fighter is also a former CES MMA Featherweight Champion, defeating Kody Nordby to win the gold in 2016.
