DIY didn't win the NXT Tag Team Championships Saturday night at NXT Takeover: Chicago, and it doesn't look like we'll see them continue their efforts.
Following their ladder match loss to NXT Tag Team Champions the Authors of Pain, the two split when Ciampa turned on his longtime partner at the top of the ramp. Ciampa would go on to lay Gargano out with a sick knee to the head and put him through tables.
Gargano and Ciampa have been teaming together since they joined WWE on a freelance basis in 2015. The two competed in the 2015 Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic, but came up short in their efforts.
As a team, the two became NXT Tag Team Champions, before losing them earlier this year. You can see our NXT Takeover: Chicago post-show at this link.
