Cody Rhodes Explains His Stance On WWE Reviving Starrcade and War Games

Starrcade and War Games were both iconic events in WCW, but haven't been seen or heard from since Vince McMahon acquired his biggest rival back in 2001. Now, 16 years later, the sports entertainment juggernaut seems to be embracing the past.

On November 18th, the night before Survivor Series, NXT will host its next TakeOver event entitled War Games. One week later on November 25th, WWE will be in Greensboro, N.C. for a live Starrcade event.

When the announcements were made Cody Rhodes took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the revival of the shows his father helped bring to life.

Cody, who admits that he received some criticism for his remarks, jumped back online to help clear the air and clarify his stance on the matter.

Dusty Rhodes' impact on the business is indelible and the interest expressed by WWE Superstars to be a part of the event only reaffirms what a positive force he was in so many peoples lives.
