Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson was already on many pound-for-pound and all-time lists. Now he can claim history as the most successful UFC Champion ever.
Johnson successfully defended his UFC Flyweight Championship at UFC 216 in Las Vegas on Saturday night, continuing as the only man to ever hold the title. On his way to doing so, Johnson literally suplexed Borg into an armbar for what may be the most impressive submission in UFC history.
Borg struggled from the outset, but had a few flashes of brilliance with a couple of takedowns, a back take, and the beginning stages of a guillotine that at least gained Johnson's attention. After a long period of dominance by Johnson, Borg scored a big takedown, but quickly lost momentum.

Round Five: The round begins with Johnson scoring a takedown on Borg and he gets side control, Johnson transitions to the half guard against Borg. Johnson also attacks a downed Borg with a few knee strikes, Borg scrambles to his feet to get the fight standing. Johnson scores another takedown on Borg and he gets side control, Johnson transitions to the full mount and then back control on Borg. Borg scrambles at Johnson nails him with a knee strike, Borg gets up with Johnson still holding onto him. Johnson catches Borg in a flying arm bar and a tap out follows.

After the fight, Johnson admitted that he was playing around with Borg for several rounds before locking on the impressive submission. In doing so, he defended his title successfully for the 11th time, breaking Anderson Silva's old UFC record of 10.
Borg was originally scheduled to face Johnson last month at UFC 215, but fell ill before weigh ins and was pulled from the fight by UFC's doctors. He falls to 11-3 in his career, while Johnson improves to 27-2-1
"Mighty Mouse" has dominated the 125 pound ranks, defeating 7 of the top 12 ranked fighters, in addition to beating a top 10 bantamweight in John Dodson twice. He's unbeaten at Flyweight, and has a potential fight with this Fall's Henry Cejudo vs. Sergio Pettis winner on the horizon.
