Full Line Up Set For Invicta FC 27, Sarah Kaufman Headlines

The full line up has been announced for next months Invicta Fighting Championships 27 card, with UFC veteran Sarah Kaufman faces Pannie Kianzad in the main event.

Kaufman (18-4-0-1NC) returns to Invicta FC for the first time in over four years, with her last appearance in the promotion being a win over Leslie Smith at Invicta FC 5. Kaufman won just one of four fights during her UFC tenure and that lone win came over Leslie Smith in a rematch at the UFC Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale. Kaufman has competed just once in the last two years, which was a decision win over Jessica-Rose Clark at Battlefield: The Great Beginning.

Kianzad (8-2-0) has won just one of three under the Invicta FC banner, with that lone win coming over Jessica-Rose Clark at Invicta FC 13. Kianzad hasn’t earned a victory in over two years, as the aforementioned win over Clark happened in July of 2015. Kianzad is a former Cage Warriors Women’s Bantamweight Champion, defeating Eeva Siiskonen at CWFC 74.

Other bouts on the Invicta FC 27 card include Mariana Morais vs. Vanessa Porto, Sharon Jacobson vs. Ashley Nichols, Stephanie Alba vs. Ashley Cummins, Brogan Walker vs. TBA, Akeela Al-Hameed vs. Felicia Spencer, Tiffany Masters vs. Mallory Martin, Loma Lookboonmee vs. Melissa Wang and Helen Peralta vs. Jade Ripley.

Invicta FC 27 takes place on Saturday, January 13 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Sarah Kaufman and Pannie Kianzad headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
