GSP has been out of the MMA game for almost three years, but he's still favored to beat the current UFC Welterweight Champion.
After Saturday's UFC 201 victory, new 170-pound UFC Champ Tyron Woodley said he's not interested in taking on top contender Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, instead opting to push for 'big money' fights against Nick Diaz and Georges St-Pierre. St-Pierre, who hasn't fought since November 2013, also said he'd be interested in the fight.
Jimmy Shapiro sent over some interesting numbers, courtesy of Bovada.lv, which show St-Pierre favored to defeat Woodley if the two were to fight. The lines, while close, told an interesting story, GSP is considered a -150 favorite, while the new title-holder Woodley is an underdog at +120.
The way betting lines work, is that in order to make money off of the favorite (GSP), you'd have to bet $150 (hence the -150) to earn $100. If you were to bet on Woodley (at +120), you'd earn $120 on a $100 bet.
As of now, no fight has been set between the two.
