Exclusive: UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic Open To Pro Wrestling Career

He may be the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion, but Stipe Miocic isn't opposed to a run as WWE Champion after his career is over.

With so many UFC fighters making the crossover to pro wrestling -- Matt Riddle, Phil Baroni, Tom Lawlor, Jessamyn Duke, Shayna Baszler, Ronda Rousey -- Miocic told Fightful.com that he's open to the idea of doing the same.

"Hell yeah, man. Money's money man. I'd do it. I'd get a persona. "The Nice Guy." I'll do whatever. I can act, I'll put on a good show. Actually my friends that are my age are still die hards," said Miocic

Hailing from the Cleveland area, Miocic is well aware of the area's WWE connection, as well.

"Two guys from my area are from there -- The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. One of my best friends was real good friends with The Miz. I think I met him one time. I see his father all the time. He talks wrestling all the time," Miocic said.

In the full interview, Stipe Miocic (17-2) discusses his upcoming title defense against Francis N'Gannou (11-1) at UFC 220 on Jan. 20. Stipe also talks about signing a new contract, his training camp for this fight, potentially competing in Pro Wrestling and a potential matchup against Cain Velasquez.
