Braun Strowman's injury has forced the WWE to make a huge, blockbuster match.
WWE Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced on Raw that he's added a fatal 5-way match to WWE Extreme Rules to determine the #1 contender to Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship. Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt are all confirmed for the match.
Braun Strowman was rumored to be in line for a shot at the title, but an injury and subsequent surgery have removed him from the fold. Lesnar has yet to defend his title since winning it six weeks ago.
Also added to Extreme Rules is Dean Ambrose defending the Intercontinental title against former WWE Champion The Miz, and Alexa Bliss will defend the Raw Women's Championship against Bayley in a Kendo Stick on a Pole match.
WWE Extreme Rules takes place June 4 from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Fightful will provide full coverage, and a live post-show podcast.
