Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez went to war and engaged in an instant classic fight with Holloway emerging victorious. Rodriguez came out hot especially in the first two rounds, and forced Holloway to use more grappling than we're used to seeing from the former featherweight champion. While Rodriguez showed no rust after two years away from the cage, Holloway was just too much with his relentless pressure, and well-timed takedowns to earn the decision. An excellent main event that would be a fight of the year contender in a world where Gaethje and Chandler didn't fight last week.

Marcos Rogerio de Lima def. Ben Rothwell via TKO (Punches) (Rd. 1 0:32)

In a quick explosive bout, Marcos Rogerio de Lima dropped a series of bombs on Ben Rothwell, before getting the strange stoppage from Herb Dean as Rothwell seemed to be shooting for a takedown. How Rothwell was still standing after the series of blows he'd received from de Lima is astounding in and of itself tho, and de Lima looked outstanding.

Felicia Spencer def. Leah Letson via TKO (Ground and Pound) (Rd. 3 4:25)

In a one way butt-kicking, Felicia Spencer completely manhandled Leah Letson, and got the finish with 30 seconds remaining. Spencer held Letson against the fence for almost the entire 15 minutes of the fight, and absolutely hammered Letson with constant clinch fighting and dirty boxing. She eventually got the takedown and crushed Letson from top position for the finish. It wasn't the most thrilling fight, but it was complete domination.

Khaos Williams def. Miguel Baeza via TKO (Punches) (Rd. 3 1:02)

Khaos Williams shut off the lights of Miguel Baeza with a huge right hook at the start of the third round after a strange two rounds leading up to that point. The first round had been dominated by a leg lock sequence, oddly, and the second featured two low blows from Williams. So the huge ending made up for what had been an odd fight up to that point.

Song Yadong def. Julio Arce via TKO (Head Kick & Punches) (Rd. 2 1:35)

In a very impressive performance, Song Yadong used his power punching approach to get the finish against Julio Arce. While the fight was competitive the whole time, Yadong's power really showed throughout and he got the finish with a flashy headkick and heavy followup.

Joel Alvarez def. Thiago Moises via TKO (Elbows) (Rd. 1

Joel Alvarez completely demolished Thiago Moises and got the stoppage via a brutal series of elbows and body shots. Alvarez has now won four straight in the UFC and may be looking at breaking into the rankings, tho he will have to get his weight in order, since he did miss weight for this bout.

Andrea Lee def. Cynthia Calvillo via TKO (Retirement) (Rd. 2 5:00)

Andrea Lee took Cynthia Calvillo to school over two rounds, hurt her many times during the bout and got the finish when Calvillo didn't answer the bell after the second round.

Sean Woodson def. Collin Anglin via TKO (Liver Shot) (Rd. 1 4:30)

Sean Woodson styled on Collin Anglin and showed off his very impressive boxing skills to get the quick finish. Woodson had Anglin hurt midway through the first round, but showed patience and picked his shots beautifully to get the finish with a series of body shots. Very nice work.

Cortney Casey def. Liana Jojua via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Cortney Casey was able to keep the fight on the feet, and safely out-strike Liana Jojua for the shutout victory that wasn't boring, but never really got out of first gear.

Rafael Alves def. Marc Diakese via Submission (Guillotine Choke) (Rd. 1 1:48)

Rafael Alves got a very quick finish via a unique club and sub sequence over Marc Diakese. Early in the first round, Alves dropped Diakese with a flying knee, and immediately jumped a guillotine choke to get the finish. A very cool finishing sequence, and a much needed win for Alves who had dropped his UFC debut.

Da Un Jung def. Kennedy Nzechukwu via KO (Elbows) (Rd. 1 3:04)

Da Un Jung got the night off to an explosive start by wrecking Kennedy Nzechkwu with a series of standing elbows to get the finish in the middle of the first round. Jung remains undefeated within the UFC moving to 4-0-1.
