Alexa Grasso Motivated To Make History At UFC 285: "To Be The First Female Mexican Champion, Means The World To Me"

Top UFC women's flyweight contender, Alexa Grasso, is excited to have the opportunity to make history this weekend.

Grasso spoke with reporters during Wednesday's media day for Saturday's UFC 285 event in Las Vegas, Nevada ahead of her clash with reigning women's flyweight champ, Valentina Shevchenko, and described what it would mean to her, to become the promotions first Mexican-born female champion.

"Well, imagine that?" Grasso said. "Making history, I know that it's not easy, it's never easy. To be the first female Mexican champion, like born, raised, train in México, means the world to me. It's a big motivation of course, but pressure too. I'm super excited for this."
