Angela Magana was last seen on the losing end of a bout against Amanda Bobby Cooper on the UFC 218 preliminary card.
That loss, compounded with two others in the promotion have gotten her a release from the UFC.
Magana announced the news herself through Twitter:
I immediately asked for a rematch with #ufc and they have released me after dropping 3 losses in a row. I'm thankful for the opportunities afforded to me through my journey with @ufc and am currently headed to the gym to train for my next win. #yourmajesty

Besides the loss to Cooper, the fighter also suffered defeats in the UFC to Tecia Torres and Michelle Waterson. Magana was also a part of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Aisling Daly by third round TKO.
It has been over six years since the last time Magana got a win, which came over Avery Vilche at Clash In The Rockies: The New Generation.
In her tweet, the former UFC fighter said that she is training for her next win, but didn’t announce whom the fight would be against or when that fight would be taking place.
