Former unified heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, is scheduled to make his return to the ring against Jermaine Franklin on April 1 at the 02 Arena in London, England.
The Daily Mail was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works, with Boxing Scene's Keith Idec providing additional confirmation of the booking. Joshua is currently 24-3 as a pro and will look to rebound from consecutive decision defeats to undefeated unified heavyweight champ, Oleksandr Usyk, most recently this past August. Franklin meanwhile is 21-1 as a pro and is coming off a majority decision loss to Dillian Whyte back in November.
