UFC flyweight contender Brandon Royval dealt with a home intruder over the weekend.
Some brave soul attempted to break into the Colorado flyweight's home according to a tweet from Royval himself and got more than he bargained for apparently. He didn't go into too many specifics of the incident but it did sound like Royval woke up to the man telling him he had a nice room and eventually ended up with the intruder's shoes.

Royval who is recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered in his last fight at UFC 255 against Brandon Moreno is 12-5 overall as a professional and 2-1 in the UFC. You could probably imagine how an incident between a home intruder and a UFC fighter might go, former light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith had his own run-in with someone breaking into his house. He discussed the incident with ESPN's Ariel Helwani in April of last year and detailed how the fight went for the intruder.
It sounds like Royval's incident seemed to be far less serious than Smith's, but if we can learn anything it's not to break into people's homes but especially those owned by professional UFC fighters.
