Christina Marks Steps In At Invicta FC 28

Milana Dudieva was left without an opponent after Mizuki Inoue was promoted to a title shot against Virna Jandiroba at Invicta FC 28.

That is no longer the case because Christina Marks has agreed to replace Inoue and fight Dudieva on just two-plus weeks notice.

5 Key Things in MMA – What to Expect During the Fall Season

Dudieva (11-7-0) enters the bout on a four fight losing streak and the fighter hasn’t earned a win in three-plus years. Dudieva won just one of three fights during her UFC tenure, with that lone win coming over Elizabeth Phillips at UFC Fight Night 48. Dudieva has suffered three of the four losses on the losing streak by way of KO/TKO, while the other loss came by way of decision.

Marks (8-9-0) is competing for the first time since her lone UFC appearance, which was a submission loss to Montana De La Rosa at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. Marks also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, losing to Emily Whitmire in the opening round of the reality show. Marks hasn’t earned a victory in over a year and that last win came over Paola Ramirez at Fight Club OC in February of 2017.

Invicta FC 28 takes place on Saturday, March 24 from the Union Events Center in Salt Lake City, Utah with Mizuki Inoue and Virna Jandiroba headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
