Conor McGregor Donating $1 Million Euros To Irish Hospitals To Help Battle Coronavirus

Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor has previously called for a total lockdown in Ireland due to the coronavirus pandemic and now he has taken things a step further to help the battle against the coronavirus. 

That step for McGregor is to donate $1 million Euros, approximately $1,088,000 USD to hospitals across the country of Ireland.

The fighter revealed that he was making the donation, which will go towards medical supplies, while having a conversation with Irish political figure Paschal Donohoe, which McGregor posted on Twitter:

 

Bloody Elbow reports that 1,329 coronavirus cases have been reported in Ireland, while 7 people have died to to the virus. WorldOMeters reports that 467,890 people worldwide have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, while 21,170 have died due to the virus.
