UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has not appeared in the Octagon since defeating Eddie Alvarez to win the title at UFC 205.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has long been considered a top threat to McGregor’s title reign, recently defeating Edson Barboza by decision at UFC 219.
McGregor also boxed Floyd Mayweather in his professional boxing debut this past August, suffering a tenth round TKO loss.
The Irishman started off the new year by going to Twitter to take shots at both Nurmagomedov and Mayweather:
That Dagestani was dog shit the other night you's are all nuts. Game full of sloppy bums asking to be slept. Pay me my worth and Kings back.
