Conor McGregor discusses if he will be back in the cage for another fight.
Conor McGregor has had a long stretch outside of the world of fighting, as he hasn't fought since he suffered a broken leg in his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirer at UFC 264 in 2021. At present, McGregor has spoke about running for president in Ireland, and has been involved heavily with BKFC as of late.
While speaking at the BKFC 70 post show press conference, McGregor spoke about the idea of fighting again, admitting that he is happy with what he has done in MMA.
"You know, like I said, I've got two fights on the contract. I'm in negotiations. Last week something happened to me. I went to the White House. My heart bleeds for my country right now. So there's a lot of stuff going on back home. I'm happy with what I've done. You know, there's something else for me that's in my gut right now. Tthat's kind of where I'm going. So we'll see. Greatness don't rush, and right now Ireland is in my thoughts and that's where I'm at."
As mentioned, McGregor was invited to The White House for St Patrick's Day earlier this month. You can read more about that here.
