Conor McGregor: John Cena Is A Fat 40 Year Old Failed Mr. Olympia

Conor McGregor has not backed down from his comments in regards to WWE Superstars. In fact, he's doubled down and targeted John Cena.

McGregor turned heads when he called WWE wrestlers "messed up pussies" last week on a UFC 202 media call. After fielding angry tweets from dozens of professional wresters, McGregor didn't hesitate to follow up at his own personal media day in his makeshift gym on Friday.

Dark Side Of The Cage To Premiere In January, Will Cover Ronda Rousey, Matt Hughes, Kimbo Slice, More

"They're not right in the head. The new age guys are absolute dweebs. The old school guys are legends. Ric Flair was a legend. The McMahons are dons. What's the main guy, John Cena? He's 40 running around in an orange shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there, he's a big fat 40 year old failed Mr. Olympia," said McGregor to the media.

Ric Flair was one of the names who bit back at McGregor last week, even accusing the UFC Featherweight Champion of stealing his gimmick. McGregor seemed to think otherwise.

"I don't know what to say to Ric Flair. This ain't no gimmick, this is the real shit. I've got to get in a fight with a man for real with no script. He was talking about bringing some other wrestler guys over to challenge me, and I said 'come bring it then.' This is the real shit over here. A few of them were talking about the street and all, come at me and see what happens," McGregor said.

McGregor complimented Vince McMahon and says that it's impressive what he's been able to do with a 'bunch of dweebs.' McGregor then spoke highly of Steve Austin and The Rock as 'dons' before reiterating that today's wrestlers seem 'messed up.'
