It's been long-rumored that the WWE wants UFC dual-champion Conor McGregor inside the squared circle.
Though there have been times where the face of the largest MMA organization in the world has talked down on professional wrestling, that apparently hasn't stopped the interest in getting 'The Notorious One' inside the company in some form. During an appearance on ESPN's 5ive Rounds podcast, the agent for McGregor, Audie Attar, added more fuel to the fire when the idea of his client appearing for the WWE was brought up.
Attar, who made sure to state that no offer has come from the WWE, said that he and his client would be open to working with WWE should the right circumstances be presented.
"I think it’s all about business, man," Attar said. "If WWE is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it. We are here. Have their people call his people — which is me. We can have a conversation."
McGregor made headlines earlier this year when he referred to WWE wrestlers as "messed up p-ssies," causing several WWE talents to respond ridiculing his size.
Attar also made sure to compliment Triple H, who has been a long-time supporter of McGregor, for attending UFC 205 in New York City. The full appearance can be heard On Demand via ESPN.com.
