The event will now be headlined by UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defending against former champion Jiri Prochazka.

Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopes will serve as the co-main event.

UFC 303 will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as part of International Fight Week. The event set the gate record for the promotion, with McGregor's return being the selling point. Nevada policy states that fans will be offered a refund.

This was scheduled to be McGregor's first fight since July 2021, when he suffered a broken tibia against Dustin Poirier.

McGregor vs. Chandler will be rescheduled for later in the year with August or September being targeted.
