We may have seen the fight and round of the year at UFC 206.
Cub Swanson and Dooho Choi earned a standing ovation from the Toronto crowd at the Air Canada Centre after an unbelievable fight that saw a little bit of everything.
Choi and Swanson slugged it out in the second round and never let up, nearly finishing each other in the fight. Choi had called Swanson out after his last victory, which Swanson admitted made him question himself. Choi said that the reason he did it because he's a big fan of Swanson.
In the end, the #4-ranked Swanson beat the up-and-coming #11-ranked Choi. The two gained critical acclaim for the bout, which Dana White called the best fight of 2016.
Swanson earned his third consecutive victory after taking a year off following two high-level losses to Frankie Edgar and Max Holloway. Choi experienced his first loss in the UFC, after going 3-0 in the company.
