MMA

Cub Swanson was last seen in action at UFC Fight Night Tampa, defeating Kron Gracie by unanimous decision.

The fighter has since undergone knee surgery to repair multiple issues and now Swanson is looking to return to action this November.

Dark Side Of The Cage To Premiere In January, Will Cover Ronda Rousey, Matt Hughes, Kimbo Slice, More

Swanson revealed those aspirations on Instagram (via MMA Junkie):

“I think the biggest thing about my comeback is I had a date of around November, and nothing’s stopping me from that. This whole thing, it’s really challenged me to stay focused. I look at it on the bright side, like I’ve picked a great time to be injured, so I’m just focusing on being at home with my kids and enjoying my time, and knowing that I will be back by November. If there’s fights going on, I will be in them, I will be ready and I will be better than ever.”

There is no word yet on what the UFC schedule will look like in November due to the coronavirus, which has already postponed multiple UFC events. The UFC is in the midst of building a “Fight Island,” so Swanson’s return from knee surgery could happen there.
