Dana White Doesn’t Care About Potential Conor McGregor vs. Manny Pacquiao Fight

Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor hasn’t competed since scoring a first round TKO win over Donald Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246.

McGregor, who has since retired from professional MMA competition, recently posted “I accept” on Twitter and UFC President Dana White says that tweet was directed towards Khamzat Chimaev.

“Yeah, that was Khamzat,” White said during a recent media scrum (via Milan Ordonez of Bloody Elbow). “Khamzat posted, ‘I want Nate Diaz, Masvidal, or McGregor. And McGregor said. ‘I accept.’ That’s what that was.”

The former two division UFC champion has also competed in boxing before, suffering a tenth round TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather in what was dubbed The Money Fight.

There have been talks about McGregor facing Manny Pacquiao in the boxing ring, but that’s something that White doesn’t care about.

“I don’t care about any of that sh-t,” he said.

Pacquiao and McGregor are represented by the same management company, so putting a fight together between the two may not be as hard as it would seem.
