UFC President Dana White and former two division champion Conor McGregor were supposed to meet twice already, but those meetings never happened for reasons that were never disclosed.
However, a third meeting has been set up between the two and that is scheduled to happen on Monday, June 18.
It was the UFC President himself that notified TMZ of the meeting:
”He and I are meeting on the 18th of this month. I don’t know whats gonna happen. I don’t know what Conor has planned. I don’t know what Conor and his team have worked on.”
While there has never been anything revealed to the public about what the meeting between the two entails, rumors have surfaced that the meeting is going to be about McGregor’s future in the organization. McGregor hasn’t competed in the Octagon since defeating Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC Lightweight Title at UFC 205 in November of 2016.
McGregor’s own legal issues could prevent the former champions return to action, as he is still dealing with the ramifications of the bus attack that took place shortly before UFC 223 this past April. McGregor recently appeared in court for the second time to handle issues related to the buss attack and he'ss be back in court this July.
