After recent speculation about a possible boxing match in the near future between Kamaru Usman and Canelo Alvarez, the UFC president Dana White has now commented on the possibility of the fight —this and much more on Thursday's social media roundup.
Dana White not impressed with talk of Kamaru Usman vs Canelo Alvarez boxing match
In the last few weeks, rumors about a potential boxing match between the UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and Mexican boxing world champion Canelo Alvarez have intensified and the fight seems to have become a real possibility.
Despite the fight not really making any sense at all, many people assumed that because this fight is a good opportunity for all parties to make money, Dana White could be interested.
However, White does not seem interested in the crossover fight in the slightest.
In an interview earlier today, White gave his thoughts on the potential fight and he clearly doesn't want to entertain it.

Despite White promoting the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather crossover fight several years ago, this fight is very different as Canelo is in his prime and Usman, despite being the pound for pound best fighter in the world right now, probably wouldn't be good enough to give Canelo a competitive fight.

A few days ago, Dana White appeared on Logan Paul's podcast and Paul was trying to persuade White to let him fight in the UFC.
Despite White in the past being heavily opposed to the idea of Logan and Jake fighting in the UFC, White seemed to entertain the idea of Paul competing in the UFC in the future.
