UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley kept the gold around his waist after a decision win over Demian Maia at UFC 214.
Woodley received a lot of criticism from UFC President Dana White, which caused the welterweight champion to seek out a public apology from White.
According to the UFC President, everything between himself and Woodley has been settled.
"Woodley and I talked and he said he was just pissed and upset and didn't mean it,” White said to TMZ.
The UFC Welterweight Champion did threaten to leak information if he didn’t get his apology, that apparently won’t be happening anymore.
Even the welterweight kingpin admits everything is good between himself and the UFC President.
"We good,” Woodley said to TMZ.
This isn’t the first time the two have seen things differently, as White lashed out against Woodley after another perceived boring title fight against Stephen Thompson at UFC 209. White hated the bout Woodley had with Maia at UFC 214 so much that the UFC President canceled a proposed bout between the returning Georges St. Pierre and Woodley. Instead, the returning GSP will go onto fight UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping.
