Many fans have been clamoring for a Wilder/Ngannou showdown and as it turns out, Wilder is seemingly open to the idea.

“Since I’ve been off and stuff, there’s been a lot of offers coming in, a lot of things, different countries and stuff like that. Even with Francis, what’s up brother, I hope everything is going good for you man, I’m sorry for your loss. I don’t know, I can only imagine what it’s like to lose a child man, I never hope to even feel that feeling of it. I hope life is going beautifully for you bro.” Wilder said while speaking to TMZ Sports for a new interview.

Wilder then went on to say that he's open to having a conversation about the fight.

“Yeah, that’s a conversation I’m still looking to get in there in the mix and talk about, you know?”

Then, Wilder was asked if he thinks that a fight between him and Ngannou would be competitive.

“Any fight is competitive, you know? You got a man that got two hands and two feet and got a heart and that will to win. I mean, you got competition, you got a fight on your head so that’s why when you get in the ring, you respect every man that’s in there cause you just never know what dog he may bring to the fight.”

Fightful will update fans if a match between Ngannou and Wilder is made official.
