UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson recently offered some advice to former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, but he isn’t the only UFC fighter to do so.
You can now add UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes and Donald Cerrone to that list.
Cerrone is the first fighter to offer the advice and it comes in true “Cowboy” form.
"I don't get ready to f**king lose, but when you do, yea pull me up mother f**ker, 'dust off and lets go'," Cerrone said at a UFC 213 media scrum. “It's just what happens. The sun's still rising, life goes on. It's just a fight. It's nothing serious, right? It’s nothing like, 'hey, it's some serious news'. So her, like, going hiding and going crazy, why? Yea, you got your ass whooped...by one of the best in the world."
The next fighter to offer some advice is the aforementioned Nunes, who actually defended her gold against Rousey at UFC 207.
Although the champion offered advice, it came in the form of two simple words.
“Move forward,” said Nunes.
UFC 213 takes place on Saturday, July 8 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
