Dustin Poirier is going to be headlining UFC Fight Night Norfolk against former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis.

Lafayette, Louisiana police officer Corporal Michael Middlebrook was killed in the line of duty earlier this month, leaving behind a wife and three children.

The Middlebrook family is currently dealing with issues surround the fallen officer’s health benefits and the UFC fighter is stepping in to help them out.

Poirier posted the following on his Facebook page:

All of the proceeds from Poirier’s fight kit sales will go directly to the Middlebrook family.

UFC Fight Night Norfolk takes place on Saturday, November 11 from the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia with Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
