Eryk Anders Replaces Alessio Di Chirico At UFC On Fox 25

Alessio Di Chirico has suffered a neck injury and he has been pulled out of a fight against Rafael Natal at UFC On Fox 25. Replacing him is will be Eryk Anders.

Natal (21-8-1) is going to enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak and he hasn’t earned a victory in over a year. Natal is currently undefeated at UFC On Fox events, having defeated Kevin Casey by TKO at UFC On Fox 18. Natal is also looking to pick up his first win in the state of New York, as the fight lost to the aforementioned Tim Boetsch at UFC 205.

Anders (7-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and his undefeated streak has lasted just under two years. Anders is the current Legacy Fighting Alliance Middleweight Champion, defeating Brendan Allen at LFA 14 to win the gold. Anders is also competing for the second time in under a month, with his last bout at LFA 14 taking place on June 23.

UFC On Fox 25 takes place on Saturday, July 22 from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York with Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
