John Crouch is the coach of Henry Corrales, who scored a first round knockout win over Aaron Pico in the co-main event of Bellator 214.
The victory at Bellator 214 was a quick one for Corrales, which was something Crouch kind of expected when you have two fighters like Corrales and Pico in the cage.
“The way Henry throws and the way Aaron throws, you never know when the ends gonna come. (He) just had to be ready for anything, you know,” says Crouch in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.
Corrales has now won five straight under the Bellator MMA banner and he three losses as a pro came to fighters who have either held or challenged for the Bellator Featherweight Title.
Crouch knows what should be next for Corrales and that would be a shot at the Bellator Featherweight Title.
“Has to be, has to be (next). Henry wanted it before and he took that (fight against Patricio Pitbull) on a weeks notice or two weeks notice before, we really want that shot. We deserve that shot,” says Crouch.
