Randa Markos is back in action at UFC Fight Night Nashville, facing Angela Hill in a women’s strawweight division encounter.
This is more than just a normal fight for Markos, as she is battling a fighter who has previously shown disrespect through social media.
“Actually, on the show, I never really talked to her. I don’t even think I introduced myself to her, she just (has) like bad attitudes and is loud…obnoxious. I just like to stay away from people like that because I know their trouble, I just believe that if you wanna talk (trash) or whatever or if you have something against me…show me in the cage. Show me while we’re fighting, why do you have to make it so vocal? That was really, really disrespectful…the whole post she did of me and the mannequin. It shows you why I blocked her, that’s the kind of attitude she is and I’m just excited to go in there and see her across from me in the cage,” says Markos in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.
The following Twitter post is what Markos is referring to:

Former two division UFC champion Georges St. Pierre recently retired, which is something that had surprised Markos.
“I’m a huge fan of Georges St. Pierre, but I wasn't expecting this. There’s a lot of talk about him coming back and enough things happening over the years, so I was definitely a little surprised when they said that he’s retired,” says Markos.
UFC Fight Night Nashville takes place on Saturday, March 23 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee with Stephen Thompson and Anthony Pettis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
