Former UFC Title Challenger Cláudia Gadelha Notifies Promotion Of Retirement

Former UFC women's strawweight title challenger Cláudia Gadelha has notified the promotion of her retirement from the sport of MMA.

MMA Fighting's Guilherme Cruz was the first to report the news of Gadelha's retirement and confirmed the 33-year old Mossoro, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil native's decision with promotion officials. Gadelha finishes her career as a professional mixed martial artist with a record of 18-5 and fought the likes of former UFC women's strawweight champions Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Carla Esparza, and Jessica Andrade, as well as Angela Hill, Nina Nunes, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Randa Markos, and Yan Xiaonan during her UFC run.
