George Kambosos Jr. looks to beat the man, who beat the man.

This bout has had bad luck surrounding the booking the of the matchup as the pair were originally set to throw down on June 19 in Miami, Florida on Triller pay-per-view before Lopez tested positive for COVID-19, which caused the bout to be rescheduled for August 14. The fight was then delayed for a second time due to quarantine issues and set for October 16. Since the third date reshuffle, Triller lost the bidding rights for the bout, DAZN purchased the rights and we're finally just days away from the November 27 showdown.

Kambosos Jr. comes into this weekend as a massive underdog and will look to shock the world by knocking off Lopez, who's making his first appearance since defeating now former consensus pound-for-pound king, Vasyl Lomachenko in October 2020.

Odds for this weekend's match at New York's Hulu Theater between Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos have been released and with no surprise, Lopez is a heavy -1000 favorite to win. This fight has been rescheduled so many times but it is finally going to happen. While the latest on NY sports betting indicate that online sportsbooks won't be launching till the end of this year or early next year, there are a few sites that will start accepting pre-registration really soon. It's too bad it won't be in time for this fight, though.

The Australin-born Kambosos Jr. (19-0) also hasn't fought since October 2020, where he was on the right side of a split-decision against Lee Selby. Kambosos will look to put his patented lightning quick combinations together while working his extremely effective jab to nullify Lopez's constant pressure and seemingly unlimited gas tank, which he uses to perfection to overwhelm his opponents into the later rounds.

Fightful will have complete coverage of Lopez vs. Kambosos Jr. on Saturday, November 27 beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.
