Hakeem Dawodu has suffered a shoulder injury that has forced him to pull out of his fight with Shane Burgos. The pair were due to fight on the upcoming UFC 257 fight headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier II on Fight Island. It remains unclear whether the UFC intends to rebook the fight or find Burgos another opponent.

Song Yadong vs. Kyler Phillips set for UFC 259
Bloody Canvas report that Song Yadong (no.14) will return to the Octagon vs. Kyler Phillips on the stacked UFC 259 card. Yadong, who is seen as a rising star in the bantamweight division. was last seen in the Octagon defeating Marlon Vera in May, while Phillips defeated Cameron Else via TKO in October.
Livinha Souza vs. Amanda Lemos
Livinha Souza and Amanda Lemos will face-off also at UFC 259 in the strawweight division, reports Combate. Souza is a former Invicta strawweight champion and last defeated Ashley Yoder at UFC 252. Lemos meanwhile has fought three times for the UFC, losing only once to Leslie Smith.
Morgan Charriere vs. Jordan Vucenic announced for Cage Warriors 122
Morgan Charriere will defend his featherweight championship for the first time when he takes on Jordan Vucenic at Cage Warriors 122. Charriere won the title against Perry Goodwin in December while Vucenic got the opportunity by defeating Paul Hughes via a split decision.
Ricky Simon vs. Gaetano Pirello
Ricky Simon will now face Gaetano Pirello at UFC Fight Island 8, MMA Fighting report. Simon was supposed to face Brian Kelleher but newcomer Pirello has stepped in to replace him. Kelleher had hoped to have the fight rebooked for February, but he will now have to look for another opponent.
Cody Stamann vs. Merab Dvalishvili
Cody Stamann vs. Merab Dvalishvili has been rescheduled for February 6 on the UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Volkov card. The fight had originally been scheduled for December 5 on UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Vettori but Stamann reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
