Henry Cejudo has suffered a hand injury and has been pulled from the upcoming UFC 211 card, where he was set to kick off the main card against Sergio Pettis.

There’s no word yet on how long Cejudo is expected to be out of action, a replacement fighter will not be chosen for Pettis to fight.

Pettis will still be getting his show money for the event, assuming that the fighter makes weight this Friday Night.

Now that this fight is no longer a part of the main card, a fight is going to be pulled from the preliminary card to replace it. However, it’s unknown at this time which one of the nine preliminary card fights will take the spot on the pay-per-view card.

It’s also unknown at this time if the fight will get re-booked on a future card or if the two will just go in a different direction going forward.

UFC 211 takes place on Saturday, May 13 from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas with Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
