MMA fighter Fau Vake is in critical condition following an alleged assault in Aukland. Vake, who trains in the same gym as UFC champion Israel Adesanya, has been getting support from his teammate. Boxing champion Claressa Shields is gearing up for her MMA debut on June 10 for the Professional Fighters League. During her time training, Shields has worked with Holly Holm and Michelle Waterson. Jacare Souza heads into surgery
After his arm snapped at the hands of Andre Muniz at UFC 262, Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza immediately went to the hospital. Souza underwent successful surgery, which will leave him out of action for about six months. Josuel Distak, Souza's coach, shared a video of Souza post-surgery, with the fighter smiling after everything was over.

UFC personality Larua Sanko will be adding a new opportunity to her busy schedule. Sanko will be the first brand ambassador for the Wimp 2 Warrior program, headed by coach John Kavanagh. That will not stop her from her duties with the UFC and the LFA.
