Holly Holm Parts Ways With UFC

Holly Holm is now a free agent after parting ways with UFC.

Holm's agent Lenny Fresquez confirmed the news to The Uncrowned.

Holm had two fights remaining on her UFC contract at the time of her departure, but requested a chance to explore other opportunities in the final chapter of her Hall of Fame combat sports career. She plans to fighting and is open to both MMA and boxing, Fresquez told Uncrowned.

Holm, 43, is coming off a submission loss to Kayla Harrison at UFC 300.

She is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship, winning the title by handing Ronda Rousey her first MMA loss. Holm went 8-7 (1 NC) in her UFC career.

She is 15–7 (1) in her MMA career and 33–2–3 as a pro boxer. She has not competed in a boxing bout since 2013. She is also 2-1 as a pro kickboxer, but hasn't fought since 2003.

Holm is already a member of the Boxing International Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2022.
