Ian Garry On Possibly Fighting Colby Covington: I Would Dog Walk Him For 25 Minutes

MMA

Ian Garry doesn't believe Colby Covington wants to fight him.

This year, Garry and Covington have gone back and forth multiple times on social media and when presented with a microphone to talk trash with. The pair are matched up with two different opponents this month, as Garry fights Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310 and Covington fights Joaquin Buckley at UFC Fight Night: Tampa.

While speaking during the pre UFC 310 press conference, Ian was asked if he had a message for Colby Covington. Garry responded that Covington will not accept a fight with him, and that was a promise.

"Where is he now? Where has he been for the last eight months? He's been running since that day he met me. He's been running since that day. Colby Covington's afraid of me, right? He will never in his life stand in the octagon with me and face his fears. I promise you now, my goal, my dream scenario, I finish Shavkat early, come out unscathed, walk my ass down to Florida, put that man in the octagon with me and see what happens. I would dog walk him for 25 minutes and make it the worst night of his life. I promise you that now. He'll never do it."
