Invicta Champ Set For UFC 207 Fight

After an injury to Maryna Moroz canceled their fight at UFC 207, #5 Jessica Andrade is now set to take on Invicta Fighting Championships Atomweight Champion Angela Hill at the event.

Andrade (11-5-0) has been undefeated since dropping to the strawweight division, defeating both Jessica Penne and Joanne Calderwood. Andrade also won four fights as a bantamweight in the UFC, with some notable wins coming over Rosi Sexton and Raquel Pennington. Andrade hasn’t had one of her fights go the distance in nearly three years, her last fight to do to the judge’s scorecards was a decision win over Raquel Pennington at UFC 171.

Hill (6-2-0) is the current Invicta FC Atomweight Champion, but she will relinquish the gold after signing with the UFC once again. Hill defeated Livia Renata Souza at Invicta FC 17, while successfully defending the belt once by defeating Kaline Medeiros at Invicta FC 20. Hill fought three times in her first UFC run, defeating Emily Kagan, while suffering defeats to both Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas.

UFC 207 takes place on Friday, December 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Ronda Rousey in the main event.
