Irene Aldana and Lucie Pudilova battled on the UFC Fight Pass portion of the UFC 228 preliminary card, with Aldana picking up a decision win.

While Aldana was happy to pick up a win over a fellow ranked fighter, it didn ‘t happen without some complications taking place.

The big concern after the fight was that Aldana broke her hand, which the fighter revealed on Twitter:

There is no word at this time as to how long Aldana is going to be out of action for, but more should be known as the healing progresses. It is also unknown as to when Aldana broke her hand in the first round, as the majority of the round and bout with Pudilova was contested on the feet. 

Aldana has now won her second straight bout under the UFC banner, having defeated the aforementioned Pudilova and Talita Bernardo.
