A middleweight division encounter is the latest addition to the UFC On Fox 29 card as Israel Adesanya is in action against Marvin Vettori.
Adesanya (12-0-0) has already competed once under the UFC banner, defeating Rob Wilkinson by second round TKO at UFC 221. Adesanya has yet to see any of his professional MMA bouts go the distance, with six of those bouts ending within the opening round, while the other six ended in the second round. Adesanya did defeat one UFC veteran prior to signing with the promotion and that was a TKO victory over Melvin Guillard at Australian Fighting Championship 20.
Vettori (12-3-1) has won just two of four fights thus far in the UFC, with those victories coming over Alberto Emiliano Pereira and Vitor Miranda. Vettori has seen his last three bouts go the distance and it has been over a year since the competitor got a finish. Vettori competed five times in the Venator FC promotion, where he holds a victory over UFC veteran Igor Araujo.
UFC On Fox 29 takes place on Saturday, April 14 from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona with Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
