Israel Adesanya Says He’s Hunting The Next G.O.A.T. In Jon Jones, Jones Responds

Israel Adesanya and Kelvin Gastelum are competing tonight at UFC 236, with the winner gaining the vacant UFC Interim Middleweight Title.

The middleweight contender says that he is going G.O.A.T. hunting and the next G.O.A.T. is UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.

“It does tickle my loins,” Adesanya said to TMZ Sports (via Jed Meshew of MMA Fighting). “It does make me feel some type of way. I like challenges. [Jones] is the GOAT right now, right? I’ve already killed one GOAT, I’m hunting the next.”

Thiago Santos is next for the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, as they will clash for the gold in the main event of UFC 239.

Jones would hear what Adesanya said and would issue the following statement on Twitter:
